A little of this & a little of that

One caramel frappachino, please.

I loved making this gift card holder! It’s a great way to use scrap paper, and your favorite embossing folders too. The lid, cup, and cup wrapper are all embossed paper. A small glue dot attached to the gift card keeps it in place and makes it easy to remove.  The coffee mug stamp is from the Morning Cup stamp set. I didn’t quite cut out the shape of the lid the way I wanted to, but it’s one of those things that is just trial & error… enjoy!

P.S. Thanks for the chai tea latte yesterday, Myra!

I think it’s time to break out another stamp set to play with…it’s a new month and with that comes a new set of ideas.

A little of this & a little of that

Does your cup runneth over?

Your cup won’t runneth over with this easy project! It’s tea for two with this cute teabag holder. I used my “Morning Cup” stamp set from Stampin’ Up.  SU paper, ink, ribbon and markers were also used. A little bitty bling was added to the top of the teapot for some sparkle, and a couple of tiny buttons were attached with glue dots for a vintage look. A shout out to my friends, SU Consultant, Nancy Smith for showing me how simple this is to make, and also props to my photographer Adriana!

What inspires you?

The new valentine’s box I made, totally inspired me to pull out all the rubber stamps I own with hearts in the design… along with some pink paper, scrap ribbon, Copic markers and of course, some of my favorite bling (who doesn’t love bling) pretty pearl embellishments. Valentine’s Day offers such a sweet palette of colors to pick from, that it makes it simple to use heart shapes to inspire your creative side. I made this card using my newest set of stamps, “Morning Cup” from StampinUp.
