We probably all have our own way of interpreting what “always wear your invisible crown” means. To me, it means that we can’t all wear sashes & crowns and be queens or princesses, but we can act like them and wear invisible crowns! We can show it by maintaining self-confidence, by being aware of our own self-worth without flaunting it, and by being humble. Maybe it means that we should imagine our worth through different eyes so we can have a confidence that we have never experienced before. Whatever this quote means, I love the way it sounds and the way it makes me feel! Hold your head high and have a glorious day!
“Mr. Who” is the name of this cute little owl stamp and I just love him. I have quite a few cute (and cheesy) sentiments that I could have used with this image on a card, like “Owl always love you” or “Whoo-la-la” but I decided to make something other than a card. I stamped Mr. Who with brown ink and colored in using layers of a pink Copic marker so the image would coordinate with the small pink bag. The same brown ink was used to stamp the branch. To decorate the paper bag, I started by attaching a piece of triangle-shaped burlap, using lagoon colored bakers twine to attach. Using large and small scalloped circle punches, I punched out background paper to layer with. I used foam tape to attach the scalloped circles and tree branch with, just to add dimension. For embellishments, I used burlap flowers from Hobby Lobby and Prima paper flowers from my stash. Of course I added a little bit of bling to the flowers, since it’s a challenge for me to just leave things like that as they are. Hope you have a hoot of a day!
