I love my hippie stamps! These tags were fun to make – the flower girl is from a set named ” Hippie Dottie” that was made by Totally Stampalicious (that went out of business about 5 years ago) and the dude is in the stamp set “Hippie” from Deep Red Stamps. I made these tags starting with stenciling on Ranger Inkssentials manila craft tags using Tim Holtz’s “Rays” stencil and distress inks.
I didn’t really have a layout plan on how I was putting the tags together, so I set the tags aside and began stamping and embossing the hippies and the Peace sentiment. After coloring them (the fun part!) with Copic markers, I decided to fussy cut them out and I used a punch instead of scissors for the sentiment. Since I wanted to match the hippies to the tag, I stamped on Ranger Inkssentials Manila Card Stock so it would coordinate perfectly.
Dimensional foam dots were used to attach the hippie cut-outs to the tags. To finish the tags I added some hemp and a metal peace sign to embellish and a little bling.
Wishing you peace, love, & happiness!
